Grade 8 - Rates & Unit Rates

For this lesson, the grade 8's worked in groups to learn the difference between rates and unit rates. They used flash cards with question, definitions and examples on them, and then played a memory game in which they had to identify the correlating rates and unit rates. The attached file contains a condensed version of the definitions, examples and how to convert from rates to unit rates.
