Parent Tips
Many parents ask: "How can I help my child at home?"
For this specific age group, the most valuable thing you can do at home is READ, READ, READ. The more exposure the kids have to different types of literacy, the stronger their skills will be in reading, writing, and spelling. The 1/2 Teaching Team also believe in the importance of balance in the lives of children and their families! We work really hard with the kids from 8:30-3:00 so by the end of the day, they will need to run, relax, enjoy family time, and engage in the extra-curricular activities which help build well-rounded individuals. Play and have fun after school....that is also an important part of development! :)

The best way to reach me is through email. It may take a day for me to reply as it is difficult to check emails throughout the day at school. If you need to get a message to me more urgently, phoning the school or using your child's agenda is a great way to communicate as well.
