Welcome to Ms. Monika Zimmermann's Grade 5/6 Page
I have enjoyed being an educator for over ten years and have had the privilege of teaching various ages from kindergarten to grade 12. This will be my first year at Banded Peak and my fifth year with Rocky View Schools. I look forward to getting to know the students and families this year!
Besides my passion for teaching, I volunteer for the Red Cross in Calgary. In my spare time, I also enjoy many outdoor pursuits such as hiking, skiing, mountain biking and running. I also enjoy spending my time reading, catching up with friends and going to the movies.
Information regarding events in 5/6Z will be found on our classroom blog beginning mid September. I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of exploration and excitement!
